Christianity was started in 30 A.D in Israel, and is monotheistic which means that it is a one God belief. The holy book for Christianity is the Bible, and Christianity has +2 billion followers. Jesus Christ, the son of God is the central figure, and there are many christian groups spread out all over, but the most are in the US with 224,457,000.

Islam started in 7th Century A.D in Saudi Arabia, and is monotheistic. Islam's holy book is called the Quran. Islam  has +1 billion followers. The central figure is Allah, otherwise known as God in Arabic. Islam is practiced a lot in Africa.

Buddhism started in Northern India in the 4th century B.C. Buddhism is Polytheistic, as they believe in many Gods. There is a sacred book of Buddhism called the Tipitaka, but some people say that there is not a book.  Buddhism has 200-500 million followers and the central figure is Siddhartha Gautama, also known as the Buddha. Tibet practices Buddhism the most.

Hinduism started in 28,500 B.C.E in Ancient India. Hinduism is monotheistic and their holy book is called the Vedas. Hinduism has 900 million followers. Shiva is the central figure, and Hinduism is mainly practiced in Asia.

Judaism was founded over 3,500 years ago in the Middle East. Judaism is monotheistic and their holy book is called the Torah. Judaism has 14 million
